India has embraced the electric vehicle revolution profoundly and the frontrunners of this revolution are electric scooters. Electric scooters have become more and more popular in India in recent years. With rising fuel prices, people are turning to these scooters for transportation needs. The electric scooter segment has seen the highest acceptance from common people because of the price parity with its petrol counterparts and low running cost. The segment is expanding at a rapid scale with a number of electric scooters on offer.

Perhaps the most important attribute to consider while choosing an electric scooter is battery capacity. The battery capacity dictates the range of an EV. Higher the battery capacity, higher is the EV’s range per charge.

In this blog, EVJoints brings you the top 5 electric scooters in 2025 which offer the best range:

Simple One (212 km)

Simple Energy’s electric scooter ‘Simple One’ tops the list with a range of 212 km. The Simple One comes with a 5 kWh battery. A unique feature in this scooter is that it gets a removable battery (1.6 kWh) and a fixed battery (3.4 kWh), which together make up the 5 kWh battery pack. The removable one can be taken home and charged. The battery pack takes 5 hours 54 minutes to fully charge.

The Simple One is also one of the quickest electric scooters in India. It goes from 0-40 km/hr in 2.77 seconds and has a top speed of 105 km/hr. With the impressive range and equally impressive acceleration, Simple Energy rightfully mentions the phrase “Outrun range anxiety” on its website.

The scooter is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh.

Ola S1 Pro (195 km)

The Ola S1 Pro comes with a 4 kWh battery pack which gives a range of 195 km. The battery takes 6.5 hours to fully charge at home. Customers can also go to ‘Ola Hypercharger’ EV charging stations and fast charge their scooters (50 km range in 15 minutes).
