Common Charging Solutions for all Ultraviolette EVs:
With every vehicle, Ultraviolette provides a Standard Charger that is capable of adding up to 35 km per hour of charge. An optional Boost Charger is also available (at extra cost) which can add up to 75 km per hour per charge. These EV chargers require a 15 Amp socket with proper earthing to function.
The new EVs from UV are equipped with a connector capable of fast charging. The Standard Charger requires 1.35 kW of power output. The Boost Charger requires 3.3 kW of power output. Both EV chargers are portable, and can be used at home or workplace. Vehicle owners can also charge the EVs at any UV Supernova fast charging stations. UV Supernova is Ultraviolette’s proprietary fast charging network.
The Boost Charger can charge from 0-80% in up to 2 hours. The Standard Charger takes up to 4.5 hours to do the same.
Each Supernova EV charging station features two charging guns of 3 kW & 6 kW. The 3 kW EV charging gun is equivalent to the Boost Charger, and the 6 kW gun provides even faster charging.
UV charging stations are designed to be compatible only with Ultraviolette electric two-wheelers.
UV Lync:
UVLync is a Type 2 Charging accessory from Ultraviolette which enables electric two-wheeler owners to access AC car charging stations in India.
With UV Lync, Ultraviolette has made it possible for every electric two-wheeler owner in the country to access AC car chargers (Type 2) and electric car charging stations.
