Here we\u2019ll discuss the top e-motorcycles available in the Indian market.<\/span><\/p>\n

Revolt RV400<\/b><\/p>\n

Revolt RV400 is the first electric motorbike from Gurugram-based Revolt Motors.<\/span><\/p>\n

It features a 3.24 kWh battery pack which gives a range of 150 km. The RV400 has a top speed of 85 km\/hr. It comes with dual disc brakes, all LED lights and swappable battery functionality. It offers performance equivalent to a 125cc petrol-powered motorcycle. <\/span>Since EVs are almost silent, Revolt has provided exhaust sounds for the bike via MyRevolt app. The rider can choose one out of the four sounds offered to experience the typical roar sound in the motorcycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presence of a removable and portable battery allows users to charge it like a phone. You can simply remove the battery and carry it inside your home for charging.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company offers a 5 year warranty on the battery.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Revolt\"<\/p>\n

The Revolt RV400 is offered in only one variant priced at Rs 1.39 lakh.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ultraviolette F77<\/b><\/p>\n

The F77 is an electric sportsbike from Bengaluru-based EV startup Ultraviolette Automotive. The motorcycle has a futuristic design and there are no visible screws and bolts on the entire bike.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Ultraviolette<\/p>\n

It features a 7.1 kWh battery pack which gives a range of 307 km. Ultraviolette provides a standard charger which can fully charge the battery in 5 hours. An optional \u2018Boost\u2019 charger is available for upgrade at the time of purchase which does the needful in just 1.5 hours. The F77 is also compatible with public EV charging. The motorcycle is equipped with a connector capable of fast-charging.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ultraviolette F77 has a top speed of 152 km\/hr. The bike doesn\u2019t have gears & clutch. The rider has all the torque available with just a simple twist of the throttle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Features include dual disc brakes, regenerative braking, multiple ride modes, two-step seat design, registration plate illumination light and anti-skid Bosch ABS.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gujarat-based EV startup Matter\u2019s first electric motorcycle Aera, is the country\u2019s first geared e-motorbike.<\/span><\/p>\n

It features a 5 kWh battery pack which gives a range of 125 km. The Aera takes 5 hours to fully charge via slow charging. EV fast charging does the job in under 2 hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

It sports a 7-inch instrument cluster touchscreen, dual disc brakes, remote lock\/unlock, all LED lights and split seats.<\/span><\/p>\n

Matter offers 3 years warranty on the battery.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prices start from Rs 1.74 lakh.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tork Kratos<\/b><\/p>\n

Kratos is the first electric motorcycle from Tork Motors, a high-performance EV manufacturing startup from Pune.<\/span><\/p>\n

It features a 4 kWh battery pack which gives a range of 180 km. With slow charging, it takes approximately 4.5 hours to fully charge. The Kratos can also be fast-charged, which takes 1.5 hours to charge 100%.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Tork Kratos touches a top speed of 105 km\/hr. Features include clutchless single speed transmission, dual disc brakes, regenerative braking, all LED lights and reverse assist.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company offers a 3 year warranty on battery. Prices start at Rs 1.37 lakh.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oben Rorr<\/b><\/p>\n

The Rorr is the first electric motorbike from Bengaluru startup Oben Electric.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Oben Rorr features a 4.4 kWh battery pack which gives an impressive range of 187 km. It has a top speed of 100 km\/hr. The bike can be fully charged in just 2 hours and what\u2019s even better is that this can be achieved on a regular 15A domestic socket! Oben Electric owns the patent of this two-hour charging tech and the company claims the EV rider need not spend on fast chargers as the bike comes with this tech as standard.<\/span><\/p>\n

Experts say the Rorr is a no-frills electric bike. It doesn\u2019t pack many fancy features like most of the other electric motorbikes in the market. There is no touchscreen, reverse mode or artificial sound feature. However, there is an anti-theft system, a charging station locator and all LED lights.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is evident from the above list that most electric motorcycles in the market are from startups. Hero MotoCorp has recently tied-up with US-based electric motorcycle company Zero Motorcycles to launch its bikes in India. TVS Motors and Kinetic Green are preparing to launch electric mopeds.<\/span><\/p>\n
