Kia will launch the Carens Clavis EV in India on 15 July 2025. The Carens Clavis EV is a three-row electric MPV. It retains much of the exterior design of its fuel-powered sibling. The Carens Clavis EV will come with a 51.4 kWh battery which gives a range of 490 km.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is expected to launch around September or October this year. The eVitara will be Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car. The electric SUV has been built on a platform which Suzuki has co-developed with Toyota.<\/span><\/p>\n

The e-Vitara will be offered in 2 battery options: 49 kWh & 61 kWh. The batteries will be supplied by BYD. The e Vitara looks cosmetically different from the fuel-powered Grand Vitara currently on sale in India. The 49 kWh variant is expected to be priced around Rs 20 lakh, and the 61 kWh variant around Rs 25 lakh. Maruti Suzuki India is working on a widespread EV charging network before launching the e-Vitara. The car will be sold via Maruti Suzuki\u2019s NEXA showroom network.<\/span><\/p>\n

MG Cyberster<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

MG Cyberster is an upcoming two-door electric roadster. It will be offered in two variants: a rear wheel-drive (RWD) variant with a 64 kWh battery, and a <\/span>dual motor<\/span><\/a> all-wheel drive (AWD) variant with a 77 kWh battery. As per reports, the 77 kWh AWD variant can go from 0-100 km\/hr in just 3.2 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

With a range of up to 580 km, the MG Cyberster will be positioned as both a performance sports car & a long-range electric car. It will compete against the Kia EV6, BYD Seal & Hyundai IONIQ 5.<\/span><\/p>\n

VinFast VF6 & VF7<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

Vinfast VF6 & VF7 are electric SUVs from Vietnam-based automobile company VinFast. The VF6 is a compact SUV, while the VF7 is a mid-size SUV. The VF6 will be available in a FWD configuration. The VF7 will be available in FWD as well as AWD configuration. The VF7\u2019s FWD variant will feature the same motor as the VF6. Both cars will feature similar exterior designs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The VinFast VF6 will come with a 59.6 kWh battery offering a range of up to 400 km.<\/span><\/p>\n

However <\/span>in India, the Tesla Model Y is expected to be offered in a single variant with RWD configuration to keep prices in check. The variant is expected to offer a range of around 500 km and can accelerate from 0-100 km\/hr in 5.4 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

MG M9<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

At MG Select showrooms, alongside the Cyberster, MG will also sell the MG M9 premium MPV. After the Kia Carens Clavis EV, the MG M9 will be the 2nd electric MPV in India. It will come with a 90 kWh battery and a range of 548 km.<\/span><\/p>\n

Apart from Kia Carens Clavis EV, the MG M9 will also compete with the fuel-powered Kia Carnival & Toyota Vellfire.<\/span><\/p>\n
