The key is matching your car\u2019s charging curve with charger power. And yes, it means I could even drive back without a full recharge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What This Trip Taught Me<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Range anxiety is more psychological than real.<\/strong> Once you know your km per % SoC, the math works every time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Moderate speed is your friend.<\/strong> 80\u2013100 km\/h is the sweet spot for long-distance EV efficiency.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weather matters but doesn\u2019t ruin trips.<\/strong> Despite heavy rains, the EV delivered consistent numbers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Breaks don\u2019t have to mean charging.<\/strong> I stretched, refreshed, and got back without plugging in.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mini top-ups are powerful.<\/strong> A 20\u201330 minute stop is enough to add hundreds of km if you plan it right.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick Checklist for Your EV Long Trip<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Do a short local test: calculate km per 1% SoC for your car.<\/li>\n<li>Plan routes based on <strong>charger power (kW)<\/strong>, not just availability.<\/li>\n<li>Keep a buffer: 10\u201315% SoC at destination is a safe target.<\/li>\n<li>Cruise steady \u2014 avoid unnecessary speed bursts.<\/li>\n<li>Use a trip planner app (like EVJoints ?).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Final Thoughts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I reached Chandigarh exactly as predicted.
