The battery type XEV 9S comes with is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/evjoints.com\/ev-guide\/passenger-electric-cars-in-india-their-battery-types-a-complete-guide\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LFP<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Battery Warranty:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mahindra is offering lifetime warranty on the battery pack (for the 1st owner). In case there is an ownership transfer, the warranty on the battery will be 10 years or 2,00,000 km from the vehicle delivery date.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mahindra XEV 9S charging time:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are two options when it comes to AC wallbox chargers: 7.2 kW &amp; 11.2 kW. They aren\u2019t included in the cost of the car, and are priced at Rs 50,000 &amp; Rs 75,000 respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 59 kWh battery variant charges from 0-100% in 6 hours using a 11.2 kW AC home charger, and in 8.7 hours using a 7.2 kW charger. The same two chargers take 7 hours &amp; 10.2 hours to juice up the 70 kWh battery variant, and 8 hours &amp; 11.7 hours to fully charge the 79 kWh variant. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/evjoints.com\/ev-guide\/the-ultimate-guide-to-setting-up-your-home-charging-unit\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s the guide to install home chargers<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As far as DC fast charging is concerned, the 59 kWh battery variant takes 20 minutes to go from 20-80% at a 140 kW <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/evjoints.com\/tools\/ev-charging-station-locator\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DC fast-charging station<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The 70 kWh variant takes 20 minutes to go from 20-80% at a 160 kW <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/evjoints.com\/tools\/ev-charging-station-locator\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fast EV charging station<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
