Tata Motors’ latest electric offering is the Tiago EV. The electric hatchback is offered in two battery pack options: 19.2 kWh & 24 kWh. The smaller version offers a range of 250 km, while the bigger battery version offers a range of 315 km. It sports a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen. The car has a 4 star crash safety rating. Tata Motors offers an 8 year warranty on the battery. Prices start from Rs 8.49 lakh.
- Kia EV6
Kia’s first electric car in the Indian market is also the company’s global flagship electric car: the EV6. The car sports a 77.4 kWh battery pack which offers an impressive range of 528 km. Features include a 12.3-inch curved touchscreen, 14-speaker sound system, 8 airbags and a wide electric sunroof.Prices start from Rs 59.95 lakh. At present, the Kia EV6 is being imported to India. The company plans to start making it locally 2025 onwards.
