Bengaluru-based Yulu has 2 electric two-wheelers in their portfolio which have been purpose-built for last-mile deliveries: the DeX NV & DeX GR. The vehicles offer a range of around 60 km and can carry up to 15 kgs of cargo. The DeX GR has been developed for Yulu by Bajaj Auto.
Yulu is a mobility-as-a-service platform, a concept which envisages a shift from personally-owned transportation towards public and shared transport. The DeX vehicles are available on rent, at very affordable rental charges starting from Rs 172/day (for a 14-day plan) in Bengaluru, Mumbai & Delhi. Yulu also operates a battery swapping network branded as ‘Yuma Energy Stations’ from where Yulu DeX users can swap their drained batteries seamlessly.
E-commerce platform Zepto uses Yulu DeX EVs for hyperlocal delivery in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi & Gurugram.
Okinawa Dual 100
Okinawa’s ‘Dual 100’ is an electric scooter specifically designed for last-mile delivery. The vehicle is equipped with a 3.12 kWh removable battery which gives a range of 129 km. The company provides a micro charger which can be used at home and can charge the EV in 5-6 hours. The claimed top speed is 60 km/hr. It comes with a luggage rack at the front. The scooter is priced at Rs 1.20 lakh.
Electric two-wheeler rental company Welectric has deployed the Okinawa cargo scooter in its fleet.
eBikeGo Muvi Cargo
The eBikeGo Muvi Cargo is a sleek electric two-wheeler. It features dual, removable 1.2 kWh batteries which give a range of 80 km. The batteries can be charged anywhere, and they take 4 hours to fully charge. The claimed top speed is 70 km/hr. The company describes the Muvi Cargo as a ‘purpose-built vehicle that caters to the needs of a wide array of industries where cautionary cargo delivery is of optimal importance.’ The vehicle is priced between Rs 90,000-1 lakh.
The eBikeGo Muvi Cargo won the ‘Best Electric Vehicle 2W Model for Cargo Fleet Applications’ award at the 2023 India Fleet Excellence Awards, held in Bengaluru.
Quantum Bziness and Bziness Pro
Quantum Energy offers 2 electric scooters for last-mile delivery purposes. The Bziness & Bziness Pro offer top speeds of 55 km/hr. The Bziness features a 2.18 kWh NMC battery which offers a range of 110 km and the Bziness Pro features a 2.9 kWh LFP which offers a range of 135 km. Average charging time is 4.5 hours and the scooter can be charged at home. The two are priced at Rs 1 lakh & Rs 1.20 lakh respectively.
Logistics company Bluwheelz and electric two-wheeler rental companies Bijliride & ScooEV, have deployed Quantum’s Bziness & Bziness Pro in their fleets. ScooEV rents out E2Ws to companies like Swiggy, Zomato & Dunzo.
Odysse Trot
Mumbai-based Odysse Electric’s Trot electric scooter features a 1.8 kWh removable LFP battery which gives a range of 75 km. The battery gets fully charged in just 3.5 hours using any 3-pin socket. The top speed is 25 km/hr. It is priced at Rs 1 lakh.
The Odysse Trot is also available on Flipkart. The company offered festive discounts of up to Rs 20,000 on the scooter during Diwali.
